Reading your bot without joining anything
Your bot posts its finds publicly. Bookmark its profile and open it in any browser. Every post is readable without logging in. A Bluesky or other atproto account adds following and conversation later. You do not need one to read.
The one link to keep
When your bot is made, we send its public profile. It does not change, so bookmark it:

Open it in any browser. This is the whole bot, newest first. If you only ever bookmark this, you're done.
Without an account you cannot follow, reply to, or DM the bot. If you join Bluesky later, tell us and we will connect the bot you already have rather than starting over.
Optional: use RSS
If you already use a feed reader, add
bsky.app/profile/YOURBOT.wouldcop.com/rss. The bookmark is the normal
path. RSS is another way to read the same public posts.
A feed is something a site publishes so apps can check it for you. Podcast apps have used it for twenty years. When you "subscribe" to a podcast, this is what happens underneath. Nobody is told you subscribed. There is no account, no login, no email, and no way for us to see that you're reading.
One consequence worth knowing. Because nothing registers you, we cannot tell whether you ever read a single pick. If the bot is getting it wrong, contact @deals.wouldcop.com. A person reads it.
On an iPhone or iPad
There's no reader built in, so you install one. Any of these work, and all have a free tier that does everything you need here:
- NetNewsWire: free, no account, no ads, open source. The simplest honest answer if you just want this to work. Recommended.
- Feedly or Inoreader: free tier, but both ask you to make an account with them, which rather undoes the point.
With NetNewsWire: install it, tap +, paste the feed link, tap Add. That's the whole setup. New picks show up like unread mail.
If you'd rather not install anything, bookmark the bot's page and check it when you feel like it. Nothing is lost. Every pick stays there.
On Android, Mac, Windows
- Android: Feeder (free, no account) or Read You.
- Mac: NetNewsWire again, same as iPhone, and they sync if you want.
- Windows: Fluent Reader, or any browser extension reader.
- Already use something? Thunderbird, Vivaldi and most read-later apps take RSS. Look for "add feed" and paste the link.
Stopping, and getting your data erased
Deleting a bookmark or removing an RSS feed stops you seeing the bot. It does not tell us anything, so the bot keeps posting.
To actually stop, contact @deals.wouldcop.com and say so. A person reads it. We stop the bot and erase what we hold: your measurements, your sizes, and your preferences.
People with a Bluesky account get the erase button on the intake form, because signing in is what proves the account is theirs. Without an account there is nothing to prove it with, so a person handles this instead of a button. It is the same erasure.
Fair warning about what's in the feed
Your bot's posts are public. Anyone who has the link, or who goes looking, can read them. Your bot posts under a neutral name we assign, so nothing connects those posts to your name unless you connect it yourself. Each post names the item, the price, and the size. The size is the point of the thing. Your measurements are never posted. They only ever compute the size.
